Dream catchers are used to help guard against nightmares while we sleep. Good dreams pass through the middle of the dream catcher while nightmares get stuck in the webbing. With this dream catcher I focused on a non-traditionally design and kept the energy of air in mind. I used a tear drop shape and strung it with black hemp. Citrine (courage & energy) and Rose Quartz (loving communication & "heart") hang from the four cardinal directions (N, E, S, W) within the web and along the bottom of the frame. Smoky Quartz (grounding & stability of thought) also hangs within the web to represent the secondary wind directions (NE, NW, SE, SW). Orange wire was coiled and spirals at the four main directions to represent the cardinal winds. Three feathers from a chicken hang from the bottom for creative and nurturing energy. They are wrapped in gray leather and also have orange coils and spirals around them.
Size: 22.5” long, 5” wide
Made from aluminum wire, hemp, leather, Chicken feathers, Citrine, Rose Quartz, and Smoky Quartz bead chips.
